Applications for Thrift Shop Manager for Vilseck is Currently Open
Duties
Oversee daily operations, staff, and volunteers at the Grafenwöhr Thrift Shop
Maintain clear communication with the BCSC Thrift Store Liaison and leadership
Ensure the store is safe, clean, and welcoming for customers and consignors
Supervise donations, consignment, and pricing
Handle cash reconciliation, deposits, and recordkeeping responsibly
Support the training, scheduling, and performance of staff and volunteers
Work Hours
22-25 hours per week and two Saturdays per month. BCSC Thrift Shop operation hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 AM -5:30 PM and two Saturdays per month from 9:30 AM -2:30 PM. Hours are subject to change based on the changing needs of the community.
Compensation
Compensation is based on commission, and will be further detailed in candidate interviews.
Applicant Information
Applicants must be a D.O.D. ID card holder, hold a U.S. passport or passport from a NATO country (besides Germany) and be 18 years or older. The applicant must have reliable transportation.
Hiring Process
Selected applicants will be asked to come in for in-person interviews with members of the Thrift Shop Advisory Comittee.
