Thrift Shop Bookkeeper (Independent Contractor)

BCSC is looking for a bookkeeper to handle all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping of our Thrift Shops in Grafenwöhr and Vilseck.
Job Description
The bookkeeper is responsible for the execution of all bookkeeping and accounting functions at the Thrift Shops and manages all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping. The bookkeeper prepares monthly, and annual financial statements, coordinates audits, and supports the analysis and development of annual budgets for the Thrift Shops.
Work Hours
You can work on your own schedule, but only during store hours. Please be aware, that several duties need to be fulfilled at the start of the month and completed by calendar day 10. BCSC Thrift Shop operation hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:30 AM -5:30 PM and the first Saturday of the month from 10:30 AM -5:30 PM.
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience.
Applicant Information
Applicants must be a D.O.D. ID card holder, 18 years or older and be HBB approved or able to obtain HBB approval. The applicant must have reliable transportation. The ideal candidate has experience in (non-profit) bookkeeping with QuickBooks.
Hiring Process
