Thrift Shop Store Manager - Grafenwoehr and Vilseck
Thrift Store Clerk- Vilseck

BCSC is looking for a store manager at Grafenwoehr and Vilseck to oversee the daily operation, administration and supervision of the Thrift Shops.
Job Description
⦁ Responsible for the daily operation, administration, and supervision of the Thrift Shop and its contractors.
⦁ Responsible for the training and utilization of all volunteers. Verify all contractor and volunteer timesheets and submit them to the General Manager by the opening day of the month.
⦁ Responsible for the physical security of the Thrift Shop and its contents. Maintain keys to Thrift Shop building.
⦁ Maintain control and accountability of all Thrift Shop money, to include deposits and verify daily deposits and total sheets.
⦁ Supervise the pricing of TSP items and donations.
⦁ Responsible for the appearance of the immediate exterior of the building, the front entrance, and the area surrounding the building.
⦁ Resolve disputes with customers, referring to the SOP when necessary.
⦁ Manage consignment program under the guidance of the SOP & General Manager including appointments, assistance with pricing, and inventory.
⦁ Applicant must be able to be bonded by BCSC annually.
⦁ Read & follow all guidelines and job responsibilities set forth in the Bavaria Community & Spouses Club Thrift Shop Standard Operating Procedures.
Work Hours
22-25 hours per week and one Saturday per month. BCSC Thrift Shop operation hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 AM -5:30 PM and one Saturday a month from 9:30 AM -2:30 PM. Hours are subject to change based on the changing needs of the community.
Compensation
Compensation is based on commission, and will be further detailed in candidate interviews.
Applicant Information
Applicants must be a D.O.D. ID card holder, hold a U.S. passport or passport from a NATO country (besides Germany) and be 18 years or older. The applicant must have reliable transportation.

Thrift Shop Clerk - Vilseck Thrift Shop (starting January 2023)

BCSC is looking for a clerk who will be responsible for point of sale transactions under the supervision of the Store Manager. We are hiring for one position at the Vilseck Thrift Shop.
Job Description
⦁ Maintain designated Cashier area within the Thrift Shop.
⦁ Responsible for the Cash Drawer.
⦁ Complete Sales Transactions
⦁ Be knowledgeable in all areas of the Thrift Shop so as to correctly answer customer´s questions or direct them to the Store Manager.
⦁ Be flexible and work as a team.
⦁ Clean & straighten sales floor as needed, sort & price donations, restock sales floor as needed.
⦁ Responsible for light cleaning of the store to include sanitizing of high traffic areas and sweeping as necessary.
⦁ In the event the Store Manager is absent from work the cashier will function as the Store Manager.
⦁ Applicant must be able to be bonded annually by BCSC annually.
⦁ Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and/or General Manager.

On-Call Contractor - Grafenwoehr and Vilseck

BCSC is looking for an on-call contractor to fill in as needed in the clerk position at the Grafenwoehr and Vilseck Thrift Shops.
Job Description
When on duty, the on-call contractor will work the consignment desk and be:
⦁ Maintain designated Cashier area within the Thrift Shop.
